Cane and I finally are able to un-chain our leash from our obligations and responsibilities. We plan to start hiking this Monday 18-April – on the TAX DAY!!!!!! We are so excited about getting back on the trail once again! Our dear friend, Paul E. from NJ, is helping with us by driving us to Virginia with a stopover in Baltimore today to attend RamSham’s niece’s birthday party. Tomorrow, we will go to Waynesboro, VA area. On Monday, we shall resume our hiking from Rockfish Gap – the southern boundary of Shenandoah National Park along the Skyline Drive and going through Shenandoah National Park for a few days. We will be on our way to Harpers Ferry. By then, we will be done with the state of VA at last!!!!!!! We would love to meet our friends from DC, VA, and MD area in Harpers Ferry in a few days. We do not know when we will arrive Harpers Ferry, so we plan to post our estimate date of arrival in Harpers Ferry. It feels good to be back blogging here once again! 😎 We are aware of challenges ahead of us beyond Harpers Ferry – difficult and rocky terrain a few miles before PA boundary line in MD and some portions in PA. You know our prayers are with you all the way. Once you get to New York I do have a couple of people that may want to walk for awhile with you. Can’t wait to see you both again this summer. We will be leaving in June and heading north so see you then. Love you both so much.

Hello Uncle Jean & Rose!!!!!! Long time no talk! 😎 Sure, we will be in touch with you once we cross the New York border. We plan to hike until first week of June, then we have plans on our own during the month of June and July. We plan to resume our hiking in August from Glencliff, New Hampshire going north toward Flagstaff Lake in Maine. Hope to see you both this year. Love to you both too. RamSham
