Cane went home to his home state, Maine as Paul E. and I drove to our home state, New Jersey last Friday. Cane has a weekend to rest and think about what he wants to do about hiking the Appalachian Trail. I am putting some ideas together such as trying to find a porter to carry most of his gears in backpack for a few days across the White Mountains. Cane and I will talk about his decision in a couple of days. I will let you know what he decides.
